Mae Ping River, Chiang Mai

#6 of 13 in Nature in Chiang Mai
The lifeline of many villages in the area, Mae Ping River provides much-needed water and irrigation to support rice paddies, gardens, and wet-farming industries. The river is 658 km (409 mi) long and passes through many provinces. Taking a boat tour allows you to see a series of riverfront towns and historic cities. The scenery changes as you depart urban centers and pass by forests, fertile rice paddies, flower gardens, and coffee, tea, strawberry, and tobacco plantations. • Tuk-tuk tuk-tuks have done ping River in 150 THB rode the thrill and I am tired. Whether simmering a driver's mind brought cruise with pin locations. What brought... To see the ride because it was interested in the ping River cruise. Location differs considerably from the cruise terminal on the map and think rice is. Coconut juice with 300 THB. But do not know the prices so cheap THB 300 or higher? You think so either way for me who gave me boat deals. Family where young men driving a boat alone. Coconut juice can have a seat across the Board, then there is not the entrance, the entrance was in the middle of the boat. It is easy-to-understand if it says from the door, not entering through the window and feel I guess. No guide. Let's assume it is also described in Thailand, I understand. Officially I'm on the map (?) And a little tip of the mapinrivercruise station to go back. Also went up a little before I got on and was on board for about 45 minutes. It is a formal guide explains. A variety of boats to choose from like the deals and find the net in about 1 h 600 THB and I think... One of riding's slow progress, but I came pretty cool. The cold weather. Café along the ping River, seen from the River during the jungle-like scenery is enjoyed in its own way, but as fun as the Chao Phraya River cruise. If extra time is very please that Nice.
