  • Love this museum ... 1. Informative about Lanna people. 2. The displays are well organised and rich in categories, from Lanna people daily life to sculpture and musical instruments. I found that the mural painting attract me the most. 3. We were lucky as we met students intern at the museum and offer us a tour (some of them are international students and they can speak English or Chinese). 4. And I guess the best part is that they have good quality (in term of translating) and quantity of English & Chinese (plus Thai) explanation plates make the visit worthwhile. Additional tips: You may be interested to find out the history of the building (the court house setting is still there in one of the room).
  • Interesting museum if you wanna learn about the local culture. Worth a visit. 90 baht for the entrance. 180 for a ticket which allows you also for the historical and the city hall museum
  • Entry fee is 90b and incl. 2 floors for exhibitions. Good for people wanna understand more about Lanna cultures. Items are well described, nicely decorated and categorised.
  • Great introductory museum for learning about Lanna culture, art and religion. It does not go into too much detail about each subject matter but gives a great overview of the region and it's people. They have bike parking but no car park. The cafe is pretty good also.
  • Nice little museum covering some religious, clothing, traditions etc. of the Lanna people and culture. Not my favourite subject matter (I didn't actually realise what it was about when I came in) but still nice to wander around. The building itself is also really nice with some wooden interior and well air conditioned. Foreigner price of 90 baht is reasonable.
