Documentary Arts Asia is a non-profit organization founded in 2008 in order to advance visual literacy and empower documentary artists in Asia. The Documentary Arts Asia Center Chiang Mai, founded in 2012, hosted a broad program of workshops, speakers, events and exhibitions. in 2013 DocArtsAsia opened a center in Laiza, Kachin State.

    The initial ideas behind this organization are great and have immense potential. But I worked here as an intern and this place is under very poor leadership. Also, this place is kind of hidden.Has great movie nights but watch out for the super mosquitoes.
