  • This is a very typical Central property with just about everything you need in the one location. Parking is generally not a problem and there are shuttle buses running to/from the city area. Located a...  more »
  • What a stunning mall. You get a tourist visitors card which gives you lots of discount at various shops and free shuttle service back to most hotels or close. There are loads of amazing shops and the ...  more »
  • Large commercial, there are many international brands, in Herb Basic and the supermarket under the floor of the blood, bought a lot of stuff. There was a connected car, but because it didn't come to our hotel, we took a taxi.

  • So I went to central festival for the first time and I had a horrible experience. I was walking with my girlfriend on the 1st floor and this lanky skinny crusty guy kept on following us. First I thought he was a usual person minding his own business, but he kept on following and leaving trails of "crust" as he walks. My girlfriend and I were very scared and started to our errands quicker to get out of the mall. I went to the bathroom and around the corner I saw a close up of this horrific guy. His face was covered in this "crust" and was having seizures while saying "21". I was terrified so I got my girlfriend and ran. Be careful of the crust man. I was told stories of this man and I guess his name is JC.
  • I am personally not a lover of modern shopping centres and prefer markets with character. however Central festival has both. It has lots of boutique shops and specialty brand stores. It has what you need and that can be a positive. IT and phone supplies as well as one of the best places to grab a quick bite when you are shopping & hungry. The food is cheap, clean, safe & tasty. Check out the food festivals they have here.
  • So easy to spend an afternoon here. Good food, good shopping. Parking can be hard to find if you come around 12:30 on Sundays. You get 5 hours free parking in the garage and 20 baht per hour after that. Movie theatre is nice and very comfortable. The food court in the basement has better local foods. The food court near the theater has western and Thai foods for sale.
  • CM biggest shopping mall is suitable for anyone who loves to shopping or dining or even walk around. For families, there are playgrounds on 3rd floor (Nearby Bangkok Bank) and on 4th floor in Central toys zoning. But there are not as many local dishes as Central Airport.
  • It's a great mall. Large collection of clothing Good collection of shoes House hold stuff has a dedicated section. Very good food court Children's play area is good. Also has an ice skating rink! Can shop - eat and spend a couple of hours....

Where to stay in Chiang Mai

While visiting Chiang Mai, keep in mind that the old town district and the area surrounding the famous night market offer both boutique (relatively expensive) and backpacker (relatively inexpensive) options. The riverside neighborhoods boast exclusive hotels and resorts, where comparatively pricey rooms come with good views and extensive facilities.
