  • A day of giving food to the elephants, wash them and taking the time to live with explanations on their conditions. Why elephants are they attached by time? because it is an aggressive animal that sometimes is in a bad mood and also because he only likes his family, otherwise it attacks others. Thanks to Sumit to be an open guide, communicating and full of kindness. 68 euros in memory ;) rate

  • Our experience at Baan Chang Elephant Park was a hundred times better because we stayed overnight. The room you get is pretty basic but it is totally worth it as you got to experience so much more. On...  more »
  • Pick up took place without problems. Guide was even employed in the Baanchang and knew very much about the individual elephants and the Park. First one was allowed to equip itself with sugar cane and walking with elephants to a large meadow. There 2 people got assigned to an elephant, with which you had to do the rest of the tour. On the lawn, you could then feed the elephants and take pictures with them. While the elephants walking around free and sought after from sugar cane was also independently after fresh grass. That was a very interesting experience, because you very (very) could come close the animals. After feeding, you went with the animals a bit on a hill and has washed them into the port. Throughout the day, the Guide took photos, which after then on Facebook made available (free of charge). Interesting, we found personally of the guides, self-critical comment that the elephants here not the best would (which would be possible only in nature), they do but but much, much better feel them, as in camps that were on entertainment with elephants. Conclusion: Superinteressante tour, the elephant looked very happy and could afford a lot, without they were immediately assigned with the hook in the barriers. An absolute highlight in Chiang Mai for us and in any case, his money worth!
