Anusarn Market, Chiang Mai

3.8
Lively and colorful, Anusarn Market attracts locals and tourists alike to its night bazaar. A few permanent shops, bars, and restaurants remain open during the day, but the authentic kiosks and stalls don't set up until the sun has set. Local vendors sell virtually everything: clothing, shoes, lighting, music, handicrafts, gifts, and souvenirs. If you get hungry check out the many authentic and inexpensive Thai, Asian, Indian, and seafood options. Rejuvenate with a traditional Thai massage or try a fish foot rub. Note that bargaining is commonplace, so come prepared to barter. Use our Chiang Mai online route planner to add Anusarn Market and other attractions to your Chiang Mai vacation plans.

  • There can be purchased many different things, but most things in souvenir class. After Danish conditions is it cheap. Scarves for 20 DKK. There is everything between heaven and Earth, and if we do not restrict themselves to get grossly overloaded in the suitcase home. A free stuff is the mood in the market, remember to take it in. sit down with a cool drink and enjoy the intensity. It is an experience that you just must have with home. Come you not in this market are you missed out on a great experience.

  • If you are looking for homemade item original from Chengmai. This is the perfect place for you to buy souvenir for your friends. Although some item is same but the price might differ from each dealer. I will suggest you to compare price and cut it as low as you can. 😀
  • You can visit this Market if you like to buy a souvenir or something to eat. If you keep walking you will visit the night market, which is almost the same style. At night there's live music at the Bar's. I would say that if you plan to stay at Chiang Mai, stay close to these market's because they are close to everything and everything will be easier for you.
  • Best market for wet weather as it's all covered by a huge tent. Stall are similar to what you'll find in the other night markets. Colour Bar has good live music and draft beers.
  • Nice place to buy some souvenir. Many handcrafted goods. You can shop in here even though is raining.
  • Well, this is design for tourist, so be prepare to pay higher price. However, this is a one stop for local elements souvenir.

Where to stay in Chiang Mai

While visiting Chiang Mai, keep in mind that the old town district and the area surrounding the famous night market offer both boutique (relatively expensive) and backpacker (relatively inexpensive) options. The riverside neighborhoods boast exclusive hotels and resorts, where comparatively pricey rooms come with good views and extensive facilities.
