  • As beautiful and peaceful as you'd expect but in a very special location
  • Not much to see. If you pass it along the way then make a stop. Don't make a 100 km round trip for it.
  • We take our guests here from Thailand Painting Holidays on our way to Wat Phu Tok. Its well worth a visit and close to the main road. The Mekong is deep and narrow here. There is an island to your right facing the river which is known as the navel of the Mekong as the river flows around it. This area is dominated by huge rounded boulders and for me the most interesting area is away from the river where there is a path passing between the boulder and lovely grassy areas. There is a narrow gap with fig tree roots clinging down the rock face. If its quiet, I like to meditate by the small shine next to some of the rocks
  • The navel of the Mekhong river 200m deep
  • Nothing much to see.
