Inspirock Rating:
3.8/5 based on 70+ reviews on the web
A relatively new addition to Bophut's tourist infrastructure, The Wharf Samui brings shopping, dining, and a lively street life to the beachfront. The modern shopping center represents yet another development in this once sleepy fishing village's move towards bustling tourism. Mixing both eastern and western architectural styles, the plaza features specialty shops stocked with both local and international products. Shop around for souvenirs, or stop for a bite to eat in one of the many cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. (You can even get that travel tattoo you've been thinking about in this one-stop shop.) • Always nice to wander late in the day when the heat is passed. Some good restaurants (for example the Starfish) and the same fruit Shake huts and banana pancakes! Friday market (walking street) very popular. A must for any stay in Samui!

  • Are gone through by accident on the way to Fisherman's village. The wharf is a very neat shopping mall. There are many small shops with high-quality and beautiful costumes of (mainly), but also very convenient/cheaper goods. Unfortunately, the half of the Mall is empty. If you're ever in the area, you can stroll once through.

  • This place has great potential. A lot of it is still unoccupied so would be amazing once the shops get leased out as it is a quaint mall next to a fishing village. Great for evenings when you can sit out by the sea and have your drinks and food.
  • Great places to go to during the day, plenty of little boutiques just be mindful of the typical knock offs. At night there is an amazing little cocktail van totally worth a visit which does really late night drinking!
  • nice location on Bophut beach with a great Bar at the beach. Unfortunately many shops are closed and the whole complex seems a bit dead.
  • A great place on the island to spend a day. Nice restaurants, beautiful resorts, and a relatively quiet beach.
  • A new shopping mall for local producers with lots of potential. However, it still needs time to develop like the central festival mall did.
