Fisherman’s Village, Bophut

(3.9/5 based on 4,400+ reviews on the web)
Enjoy a blend of old and new at Fisherman’s Village. Dating back centuries, the area's well-maintained old wooden Chinese shop-houses have retained their character and atmosphere. By contrast, boutique stores and diving shops create a bustling and inclusive retail area amid the period architecture. Take a trip out onto the waters with a local fisherman for a different perspective on the village, its people, and their way of life. Fisherman’s Village is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our world travel planner, Bophut Edition.

  • Here we found a nice athmosphere and some very good restaurants. The place was easy to go to and the beach was just next to the boulevard. A very nice friday midnight market. No aggressive restaurant ...  more »

  • Since the bulk of hotels and campers are located on the beaches of Kata Karon and Patong, then get to this fishing village, you can take a taxi, tuk-tuk, a moped or attempted. TC our company in this trip consisted of 4 persons, then there we ordered taxi, and the cost of the trip from Karon amounted to 80 baht (1500 roubles, and on the way back-caught the car for 500 baht on the village. Visit to the closure of the market better, ones. 18-19 hours local. by this time, discounts on some seafood will reach 50-70%. This is exactly what we did. Cook bought fish and sea reptiles can be immediately for 100-200 baht per kilogram of product. Thais love all Cook in butter and batter. Ask do Grill in foil, then you will welcome difference in taste.))) And I implore you! Come here HUNGRY!)))
