  • When I visited had become just a souvenir shop. I felt better prices in its own way, and if it was shopping in Central.

  • In Italy it is now rare to find a few more artisan at work, here on this road leading to San Kamphaeng, long think scarce 20 km you can find many. Here are produced with mastery the typical thai rice paper parasols, some are huge and wonderful, cleverly painted. At the entrance you will find the craftsman who will prepare the groundwork and then gradually many women picking bamboo, rice paper left to dry in the Sun. In short, to visit, I was enchanted. But then you saw how they sit Thais??!

  • The warorot market in chiang mai, the white collective bus (20 baht per person), and get off at the center of Bo blood. Free entry to the center of manufacturing of parasols. People work in front of you, and show you all the steps of the design of these umbrellas. From 20 to 22 January, there was a party of the umbrellas in the city - find out next year because there is no pub. Another workshop over at the entrance to the city, which shows how the drawings/paintings on the larger umbrellas are made. Superb
