  • This site is located about 2 km from the TSB On Nut station. It is a strange and exceptional, place dedicated to the ghost of Mae Nak, according to a Thai legend. Monks live on site. The Thais go there to receive blessings and advice. Some throw buckets of fish in the river behind the sanctuary in order to attract happiness.

  • This temple is a must if you're interested in folk culture. It's home of the shrine of Thailand's most famous ghost -- Mae Nak Phrakanong. Here, one can also observes various Thai superstitious beliefs in action -- rubbing tree trunks for lucky numbers, making+mailing merits to loved ones, etc. Go with local guides so they can explain what each act means. Experience this place with an open mind. Instead of ridicule, learn.
  • First read about Mae Nak Phra Khanong. It will give you some of the back ground. As with most temples in Thailand, try to visit with a local... Saying that she seemed sort of mean.....
  • Bit too many fortune tellers
  • Come to see the most famous lady ghost in Thailand--NaNa!
  • Beautiful tempel
