  • Going to the Royal Palace a tuk tuk offered to take us in a temple before. So we went in this temple by chance to pray... It is a beautiful place if you pass by the.

  • This is the first temple we visited on our trip to Bangkok. Was shocking see this Buddha of foot with their 32 meters of high their large feet were in maintenance and covered of awnings, by what not could see its magnificence in its entirety. Buddhist monks are among the few tourists that we had and are very kind, until I took a photo with one of them. There are hundreds of amphorae, places of worship, steeped in history that with my Western mind fails to understand.

  • Far from the tourist crowds, the majestic golden Standing Buddha is an amazing sight to see. Not far from Rama 8/Thewet ferry stops, a 5 minute ride from Tha Chang (Grand Palace) ferry stop.
  • Part of my self guided shrine tour in Bangkok. Take some time and stop by as you check off your to do list of shrines to see. Worth a stop. Wizard of Where.
  • One of the biggest standing buddha in protective gesture.
  • Came here for exotic photos
  • Nice to see but beware of the Tuk Tuk drivers, who want to urge you into a shopping center for their own commission... Those often wait at Wat Phra Kaeo.
