  • This is the largest standing Buddha of the city. It is next to a beautiful chinese Temple, also worth a visit. It is not pressure, no famous attraction.

  • Certainly less famous and spectacular of the reclining Buddha, but quite charming: the complex is not crowded with tourists, the faithful pray assorti, one can observe the Buddhist rituals, Lotus flower sellers and discrete prayer tablets, appreciate the impressive standing Golden Buddha. I recommend it.

  • The statue stands all alone in sun and rain daring all natural calamities reflecting the serene mind of Buddha. A real sight to see.
  • Part of my self guided shrine tour in Bangkok. Take some time and stop by as you check off your to do list of shrines to see. Worth a stop. Wizard of Where.
  • Came here for exotic photos
  • Really impressive
  • Nice to see but beware of the Tuk Tuk drivers, who want to urge you into a shopping center for their own commission... Those often wait at Wat Phra Kaeo.
