  • Tour With Tong was recommended by a friend in the UK that knew what a nervous traveller I am. I emailed them months beforehand and then chased up. I checked with my friend and she recommended I phone ...  more »
  • We chose the vip tour. Our guide Lili has been lovely throughout the day. We had the immense privilege of spending time with Douk Dik and Jumbo two wonderful and nice elephants that we had the chance to accompany in the river to dive with them. A succulent was also served in the middle of the jungle. A real moment of happiness. Go ahead and help this great team save more elephants.

  • Jerry was our tour guide for a group of 6 of us and he really made our day memorable. We chose to use a limo van and that was so nice to have cold waters provided throughout the day as well as cold towels. Jerry was infinitely knowledgeable about all of the history of the temples. He was a fantastic leader as we didn’t have to make decisions and he kept us going quickly so that we could squeeze as many things in as possible. He also brought us to a great place for lunch. We especially loved he canal tour. Would highly recommend!!
  • We had an amazing tour in Thailand using 'tour with Tong' our tour guide and driver went way beyond what was expected. We rode abd bathed elephants and fed and played with baby tigers. The elephants were treated and looked after really well. We felt safe at all times. Would highly recommend using them and we will be using them next time. Our guide took photos we will treasure forever. We look forward to getting them from Tong and sending her ours.
  • My husband and I visited Thailand for the first time recently and spent our last 2 days in Bangkok. I had booked an all day "tour with tong" to see some of the major sights, however the day before we were to go, the schedule of the grand palace changed (which happens spontaneously sometimes) due to a holiday and it would be closed during the afternoon hours which would've affected our tour. Not only did I get an email but also a phone call late that night to my hotel room so we could discuss options and make a new plan. We ended up splitting our all day tour into 2 days so we could see everything we wanted. I was so grateful we were able to do this! The first day we went to the floating market, benjarong (where they hand paint ceramics) and wood working village with guide Tammy. She was wonderful! Be advised if you're staying in downtown Bangkok that it's an hour and a half or so drive to get to these places by private car. The floating market is cool to see/experience but definitely wear a hat and/or sunscreen! The next day we did Wat Pho, reclining Buddha, Emerald Buddha and Grand Palace with guide Kiwi who was also wonderful and knowledgeable! Unfortunately I had gotten Salmonella poisoning a few days earlier (though I didn't know it at the time) and had to cut that tour a little short because I was dying. Kiwi helped us get a cab back to the hotel instead of taking public transit which was the plan. All of these places were really cool to see but it is unbelievable how crowded it was!! If you're going to see these sights, just be prepared that it's like Disney World on steroids. THOUSANDS of people. There are times when you're so surrounded by people (mostly large Chinese tour groups in our case) that you can't even move and are just being pushed along. This was especially the case with the emerald Buddha (which you can barely see and can't take pictures of). I'm glad to cross these sights of my list, but they're just SO TOURISTY, so be aware! In terms of Tours with Tong though, I can't say enough good things about this tour company and the guides and drivers! If you want to check all the big things in Bangkok off your list, these are the people to do it with!
  • If there is one thing that has to be on your list when you come to Bangkok it is to have a Tour with Tong! We enjoyed two tours - a half day train and floating market and a full day with visit to the elephant park and local Burma/Thai Railway history. Our guide Yuth and driver Mr T were exceptional. They looked after us so well and had a wealth of knowledge of Thai culture, history and current events. The mud spa, bath and ride with elephants and their mahouts was one the most joyous things I have ever done. It was a privilege to play with the elephants and see them smile. Tong was also able to book fabulous tickets to go to the Siam Miramat Thailand Cultural Centre Theatre - absolutely brilliant! Thank you Tong and your incredible team.
  • I had 1 day stop over in Bangkok, I phoned Tong after reading positive reviews, explained only have 1 evening in Bangkok, she arranged a tour guide to explore the city with driver in one evening. Seen all the main city features and had time to shop in mkb mall, all done in 5 hours. Best stop over ever. Highly recommended.
