Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.

  • Not a tourist attraction. Has a few restaurants that were good. Nothing to see there. Our hotel was close and we needed to eat so we went here. It served it's purpose.  more »
  • Not on a par with Bangkok city malls. Not great choice of shops. Its not geared towards tourists. Food market outside along with some restaurants, money changers. McDonalds and Starbucks there.  more »
  • We were staying at an airport hotel within walking distance and thought we'd check this place out. If you dont want food stall market, then this is a nice alternative with lots of choices for restaura...  more »

  • Good place for enjoy some foods and shopping. You can get most of things you need for daily life. But I am not sure on IT Products since I see no shop in this market. Also, good condition of parking lot both on ground and in the building. However, the traffic in front of this market is quite terrible especially in the late evening (after work hour). The rest is fine.
  • Large family mall - many F&B Outlets. Wine connections & another wine shop is there too. There is Villa Market & Boots. KFC, Pizza & Mac D. But not B. King
  • Seems quite nice. It was near my airport hotel. Worth a visit for food if you're staying close by
  • The biggest Community mall on Ladkrabang road, great for travelers and local people also. Starbucks, Mcdonald is available here also. Thai food "Inter restaurant" is a must and cheap price!
  • It's a nice indoor/outdoor mix, and also big name stores with small flea-market shops.
