Department Store Shopping Mall
Shop 'til you drop at The Emporium, an impressive six-level mall filled with stores, entertainment, and beautiful design. With details like impeccably dressed doormen, live music on a grand piano, and marble flooring, it's no surprise this upscale center hosts names such as Prada, Dior, Mont Blanc, and Chanel. Head to the third floor for electronics, sports gear, and books, or check out the Emporium Department Store spanning all six levels at the back of the mall. Stop for a bite on the fifth floor and choose between a huge selection of Thai and international cuisine, or catch a film in the luxurious world-class cinema. Make The Emporium a part of your Bangkok vacation plans using our Bangkok vacation planner.

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.

  • Went there on a Monday evening when most high-end brand stores were closed, where the mid-tier stores were still opened. Was quite a nice mall to go with large, spacious store space and mall area. Wou...  more »
  • It is a luxury fashion mall and it is boring. Maybe we were not the type to shop. We left after 1hour. The Emporium appear to be 2 buildings across each other and we only went to one wing. There were ...  more »

  • You can find here a great variety of food and all kinds of luxury goods. There is a highly motivated team to advice you. You also have a direct access from the Emporium suites at second floor because it is situated in the same building. This place is highly secured and guarded on every entrance.
  • Above average on product variety but not that much. I find that some of the mall staffs are rather reluctant to service locals than foreigners. But, of course, there are some impressive ones too. The Emporium is under The Mall Group.
  • Good food, the place is big and has lots of shops and stores. The place is good for kids too. There's a food court and a playground for kids on the other 3rd floor.
  • Great place for luxury brand shopping. However, I find the opposite Quartier better. It is better organized and nicely laid out.
  • One of Bangkok's luxury shopping malls. Not many bargains here. Seems to be a place for the local hiso crowd to hangout in. Tourists can avail themselves of the 5% discount on offer by get an M-Card.
