It was a hot day and when I get in to the mall, wow! Thank God! It's cool and I love the designs all around and each floor decorations! Prices are not so expensive either goods and food :) make sure you visit when you travel to Bangkok!
The mall is an attraction in itself. Each floor of the mall is named and themed after a world city, ranging from Paris to Tokyo to San Francisco. The floors do not necessarily contain the stores originating form the city or the country that they are named after, but rather incorporate certain quirks found in their namesakes. There is a red telephone booth in London, faux marble columns with Roman sculptures are in Rome, and a model of Golden Gate bridge connects the roof in San Francisco. The top floor, called San Francisco pier, hosts a food court. The Sukhumvit metro station is nearby.
Shopping - liked the Mall concept. Themed levels and a mix of market style shops as well as the big stores like H&M. Each level represents a country and the decor is fun! Food - bought fresh steamed buns and fruit on the basement floor in Gourmet Market. Head to the food putt for delicious Green Papaya Salad. Loved the fraps from Bread Talk on the basement floor (half the price of Starbucks and bigger!) and the pork floss bun was tasty! Toilets - Japanese style and divine!
Easy parking area. Nice food court. Near bts asoke mrt sukhumwit.
Would give it 5-Stars, but always HOT inside. They skimped on adequate air-con! A real NO-NO in Thailand! Otherwise great mall with everything one needs. EXCELLENT and Cheap Food Court.
