Shop, sleep, wine and dine at State Tower, one of Thailand's tallest buildings. Sip cocktails at the sky bar, one of the highest open air bars in the world, or enjoy a gourmet meal with panoramic views of Bangkok. Not one, but two five-star hotels call the tower home. Notable architectural features include the 40-story atrium, neoclassical pediments, and 30 m (98 ft) tall golden rotunda on the rooftop. Also housed in the building are condominiums, service apartments, offices, and retail units. Put State Tower into our Bangkok trip planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Night view is very beautiful, service is very polite, we came when we heard that the bar wine is very expensive, so did not dare to stop more, hurriedly took a few photos, and a video on the withdrawal, but the night scene is really beautiful

  • Love looking out from here, it’s always amazing to see on a clear day or night. Expensive for the drink -G&T around £25 but the view is to die for  more »
  • It's starting already in the elevator: you must pass several service forces which act as an admission control and tell them where you want. Then the elevator is popped and an another employee who apparently runs throughout the day with the elevator, press the respective button for one. Arriving at the desired floor, one is directly to the elevator received and redirected to a page of the balcony and be a "places assigned". The entire stay was very uncomfortable. There were some guests in gowns (!) on the terrace and exaggerated many service personnel were constantly at your side to make a photo of friends or to serve a far too overpriced drink! The view over Bangkok is really incredibly beautiful, but we have not so long delayed us, because we felt really uncomfortable! Us it was known that they pilfered should attract, if you went in a sky bar, but in particular the 'service' / the permanent services was just too much! Furthermore, the prices for the obligatory beverages were outrageously high and the price agreed in any way! I forgive the 3 "Star" just because the Outlook I would rate everything else as deficient. During a further stay in Bangkok, I would not even once here come but vlt try another bar that promises a similar Outlook. Did you find this review helpful? Then show it ;-) Thank you!

  • We had an INCREDIBLE experience staying here. We were immediately upgraded to the balcony level upon a 24 hour brutal flight and boy were we excited. The hotel is immaculately kept, gorgeous floral arrangements in the lobby, an attentive and professional staff and my favorite part- that ICONIC rooftop, nothing beats it. The night we visited, there was live music, a memory that is stapled in our head as a favorite. Highly recommend, we can't wait to be back.
  • Magical place! I was in 56 floor, and the views were amazing. The room is pretty (maybe still a bit old fashioned.) And I loved the idea of the lunch and tea time, I really enjoyed. Breakfast was awesome too!!!!
  • Food was generally good. But the beef rib eye is not up to expectation. The wind is too strong up there. The service was good though. They provide scarf for the lady.
  • Lebua at State Tower was an unforgettable experience. My reservation had gotten lost and the hotel was full. The apologetic and friendly staff found a suite and gave me an upgrade and I ended up in a huge room with a living room on the 52 floor, I think it was. The Rooftop Sirocco Bar had an amazing view over Bangkok and there was a lovely breeze. I love this place.
  • Liked the hotel, rooms can use a bit of updating. Spacious, good service. A n expectacular breakfast with a huge selection and excellent quality. Only down side is the long wait for the elevators. It takes minutes to get one and at night they are always full with the outside people going to the rooftop bar!
