Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.

  • This park is situated near the famous temple circuit of Bangkok and offers an opportunity to take a break from the hectic visits, sit, and relax. The park is maintained properly and is clean.  more »
  • This well maintained park is a good place to escape the busy centre. It is annoying that you will still hear the cars though. So that's a pity.  more »

  • It was a nice and relaxing park. Not much people on Sunday afternoon. Its a nice place to stop by after visiting the Siam Museum.
  • Nice park with some old traditional buildings (that could use some maintenance) and an outdoor gym with fitness equipment. A lot of people working out in the park and doing yoga.
  • An decent playground, but lots of broken equipment. Nice green grassy areas and tree spread out amongst dilapidated traditional Thai structures.
  • Quiet and shadow rich park. Many locals hang out here, nice place to escape the overcrowded temples around
  • Quiet place and we can do many public activities here. I love lift gym here
