  • In the mourning of the King liable during ceremonies that continue for a while, we went on Saturday and Sunday will be the Park ceremony had been closed over the entire surface. Do not take photos of monuments in alone? Thought, but from the security people, volunteer guides who 'kinda forced' on a person planned reaction was going to need attention for a while. Just before the ceremony ready clean in the Mon looks bad is.

  • Sanam Luang is the country's main venue for Thailand is very simple. To organize events of the country. The location is very convenient to travel to travel on land, taxi tuk-tuk, car transport, which has a Concierge, travel advice, the people of Thailand, and foreign tourists as well. There are also signs the travel details clearly. After leaving the merumat exit, walk to down town on the left. On the right, walk to visit the Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Pho, and can return by boat at tha Chang Wang Luang is per Platinum it.

  • Royal palace where the late King will lie in state until Oct 2017. Massive renovation and repairs underway to be 'perfect' by his cremation date. A beautiful place to visit. Appropriate attire mandatory. If you are not properly dressed you will be forced to rent long pants/whatever from their booth for your visit
  • This old royal palace in Bangkok opens publicly for tourists. One you need to remember is wearing long jeans, trousers, or long skirt otherwise you have to spend money buying long trousers in front of the royal palace. You need to wear appropriately. There is strict law and you need to be obedient. A sacred place you can visit.
  • Went to give respect to his HRM Bhumibol Adulyadej, King of Thailand deceased the 13th of October 2016 and will be cremated the 26th of October 2017
  • Very pretty but a bit over crowded in my opinion. Don't miss the monk chant at 6pm, amazing experience! Also, great views of the city of Chiang Mai from the top of the temple beautiful intricate work up there
  • Nice park. Close to many tourist attractions such as the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Also, the spot for the royal cremation in Oct. 2017.

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.
