  • its a beautiful place and many sights are there. grand palace, temple of the emerald buddha national museum. but right now i november there are hug crowds of mourning thais because their beloved kings...  more »
  • Now tourists by mourners visiting more might be better. It is from the situation very strange unless the harm is unlikely, but unsuitable for tourist traffic and congestion. Now, it is on the north side of the Royal Palace in the square and Park. And open to the public, and anyone can attend. (Free of charge) is not so hot just Thailand stay although the Park (laughs) Royal Palace tourist would go to would be better.

  • Tent for mourners who gathered from across Thailand due to the death of the PMI Mon King has made. Tents to stay, no accommodation or the soup kitchen volunteers, there was a tent for the medical team. Explore the current atmosphere would better go, but declined modestly.

  • Attention: Since His Majesty The King Bhumiphom Aduladejd died on October 13. 2016 access to Sanam Luang is very Restricted. All have to pass through security gates (like at an airport) and everything deemed 'dangerous' , even lighters, small scissors and knives are taken. And you have to show your Passport. You have to wear black/white clothes. Around Sanam Luang is a 'Speer Securty Fence' . So if inside happens any kind of panic with 10.000 nds people inside, many could die at that 'Speer Fence'. So I would not recomend to go there. Its dangerous. Homless people, who also want pay homage to His Majesty, are arrested and brought to some goverment place!
  • Im like my Buddhist place lm ever pay my king my buddsih is be long time 13,31
  • Thai historical Places is all around including the grand palace, Thammasat university, Ministry of defence and a famous Kao San Road.
  • Nothing to see here, a bit stinky depending on the day. Safe. Best for walking without being annoyed by misleading, lying tuktuk drivers. Always use taxis that are metered! Use the app of 'Grab' to book a metered taxi. Easy, no miscommunication, no lies.
  • Try to visit here in the evening around 5 - 7 PM. Depends on your luck there are many activity going on here e.g. kite flying, skate boarding. I once met with the free flying bird group. Also provide a great view of the grand palace.
