Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.

  • For the first time I visited this park on the recommendation of a friend. This is a botanical park full of plants, flowers and trees. Many are identified which is extremely helpful. Here too you will ...  more »

  • Beauty green in the city! Clean and peaceful. Great to walk, run, bike, and sit there if you come in the right time (the early morning and the late afternoon). Otherwise you should have been familiar with the weather in Bangkok.
  • Green area in Jatujak, plenty of flowers and trees with good treat. Great for jogging in the morning or evening.
  • One of the most peaceful public parks I've ever been. Less crowd, a lot of good spot to sit and chill for those who don't run, botanic garden, variety of plants and flowers (some with nametag). 15-20 mins walk from BTS Mochit station.
  • Park in the city. Near Asoke BTS station and Sukhumvit MRT station
  • Love this place. If your kids have scooters, take them here.
