  • Forget it if you don't like crowds. Multi maze of alleys & paths. Hang on to your bag & sense of humour. I had my gum & cherry cola lip smacker stolen; really?? Streets only wide enough for motorbike YET they drives cars there like in 2 lanes????? Wholesalers so very cheap if you can stand it. Crazy place; I don't even know how the locals know where they're going. Or do they???
  • Almost 24 hour market with wide range of trendy clothing, accessories. Better stuff than some of the malls at astonishing prices. Great bargains for travellers. Hit this market on the first day that you land in Bangkok so that you can enjoy your holiday wearing new and fashionable clothes while supporting local small trades people.

There are lots of hidden gems--good buys that you have to look closely to find. Most shops close at 1 am though.
  • I love buying here, fantastic range of clothing at extremely cheap prices. I normally buy a consignment of kiddies t-shirts with lights from the Rhymes clothing store Close to both Indra Mall, Platinum Fashion Mall and others and situated next to Baiyoke Gallery, the market is very centrally located in the Rachaprarop area. At night most of the stores close and then the night market begins ...
