Enjoy the extraordinary alone won't sell to foreigners, of course, but seen from the display window. This area has many specializing in handguns and hand the area's. Forster for handguns and bulletproof vests were sold.

Feel like I'm back in 1950 for the architecture and the environment. Recommended to try Thai desserts and Thai street food on the first floor.  more »

Good place to come to after a some time at the Grand Palace area. This small mall has AC, which is fantastic from the heat outside. There aren't many shops inside. For us, it became a point to just sit and wait for friends to meet up and go somewhere else after.

If you are in the geriatric set, then this place is for you. They were right in naming this "The Old Siam," because most of the people and the products that are offered are geared towards older folks. You can even sing you favorite tunes at the food court karaoke with accompanying organ. Cloths, food, jewelry, are definitely not the same as those in Prathu Nam district. They use to have alot of electornics parts and stuff for sale there since The Old Siam is across the street from Baan Mor, the place to be for electronics, radio, stereos, parts, and what not.

Interesting place full of nice little shops. If you are looking for a non-touristy place you will need to go there

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.
