Nana Plaza Bangkok, Bangkok

Nana Plaza, occupying a three story red-light district building in Bangkok, claims be the largest sex complex in the world. It is on Sukhumvit Road Soi 4 about 20m from the Nana Hotel, and about 300m from the BTS Skytrain's "Nana Station". The name originates from the Nana family which owns much property in the area and still has much influence in Thailand.
Along with Soi Cowboy and Patpong, Nana Plaza is one of the Bangkok red-light districts which attract primarily tourists.
The plaza's U-shaped building is roughly square-shaped, with a single opening on the west side, and consists of a ground floor and two additional floors arranged around a courtyard. It started as a restaurant and shopping center in the late 1970s. During the early 1980s, a few go-go bars appeared and gradually replaced the shops and restaurants.
In 2012 Nana Plaza was sold to Nana Partners Co Ltd, a partnership that includes the Eclipse Group - one of Thailand's largest bar and nightclub operators - for a rumored $25,000,000 after the land was inherited by seven sisters who wanted nothing to do with a red light area.
Several short-time hotels operate on the middle and top floors. Short-time hotels rent out rooms by the hour or more to patrons to take a bargirl for sex. Most bar girls working at bars in Nana Plaza will leave with customers upon payment of a bar fine.

  • Went to Spanky's Gogo bar after hearing positive reviews of it being an relax atmosphere. Well to the contrary it wasn't. I ordered a Sprite for $160 baht and less than 40 minutes later I was told I h...  more »
  • If you're in Bangkok, you really have to pay a visit to either Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy just for the experience. There are literally hundreds of scantily clad girls at the various bars here (and outsi...  more »
  • The Nana area is known as Bangkok's Nørrebro. Here the Middle East with lots of shops and lovely food. There are plenty of Disko/bars both ALM and the more sneaky. But Nana is the guarantee of good food and night market along the different streets corners.

  • Great place. Enjoyed it.. Need spend some more that night👍😁😀.. Beautiful ladies in the gogo bars on the third floor.. At some point u don't want leave.. I stayed there until they were closed was enjoying every minute.. Wow was amazing
  • love the vibes and the crowd here. Very energetic and lovely. Pubs are naughty but was a great experience overall. Opened up my perspectives completely. So different from other places!!
  • A great place in Bangkok to chill at night. Great ambience. Grab a beer and enjoy!
  • I have a mixed feeling about this place. A few decades back I used to meet here with a lot of fellow expats for "after-work activities". These days I still use this location for a rare get together with old friends or to introduce a newcomer to one of Bangkok's more notorious nightlife areas. In some ways I do feel nostalgic about the place, but I also kind of wish that it would finally give up the ghost and disappear. Bangkok will always be Bangkok, but the paint started to peel on this location a long time ago.
  • Best place to shop and hangout. The food court has great option. Try shwarma and KFC
