Take a break from the concrete and glass hubbub of contemporary Bangkok at Lumpini Park, an open public space offering much-welcomed urban relief for residents and tourists. Trees, grass, and views unimpeded by nearby buildings are something of a rarity in the city center, contributing to this green space's immense popularity. Take a boat out onto the man-made lake or enjoy a bike ride along its many cycling and walking paths. With a library, playgrounds, and over 30 species of birds making their home here, the park has plenty to offer visitors of all ages. • Excellent outdoor hangout for families with small kids. Huge green areas with small rivulets. You can do boating as well. You can see a lot of .. a serious lot of water monitor lizards up close in a way that no other zoo can possibly allow. There is a play area for children with a lot of swings as well. Overall a very pleasant experience!
  • I personally feel this is a big park. The ambience is great with stroller walking in the evening and morning through out the paved roads. Free equipments for gym. In the middle of city it has some calm environment. Great for evening walks and morning light runs too. Small ponds are equally beautiful.
  • Excellent park to get out of the heat of the city. It has Central Park vibes with the lake and skyscrapers surrounding. The park is very well kept and offers toilets. There are many people enjoying it on bikes and jogging, but also families. There is a good chance you’ll get to see big lizards on the lake, which is a plus!
  • For a stroll it is really nice. When I went it was super hot and we just sat and enjoyed the nature. And to my surprise a big reptile crawl out of the little lake. Scared a bit but I think that is a true experience you get when you take some time to explore
  • Best park in the city. Very clean and absolutely safe. You can even see water monitors. It gets crowded though. It's fabulous for watching people do yoga and you can even go on a ride with a swan pedalo. Great for taking a breather in the hectic city.
