Koh Kred, Bangkok
(3.6/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Just a short journey from the capital city you'll find an entirely different setting on Koh Kred, a manmade island in the Chao Phraya River. Popular for its earthenware pottery, the island features numerous kilns and pottery shops as its main attraction. Besides picking up a souvenir here, you can also tour a large number of temples including Wat Porami, a royal temple, near the main ferry docks. Check out the small museum inside the grounds with historical items including art made by Colonel Chatwat Ngamniyom. • I heard Burmese (Myanmar) people live in villages. A place to live, and Chao Phraya River sandbar inconvenient? I felt. Recently, it seems less tourists. It is not so many friendly people, residents have been living in a beautiful place, we can recommend.

  • Is perfect place to enjoy on a day trip. In a peaceful atmosphere around the island is by bicycle. No car, so children who get the bike can catch up while enjoying the views. In the middle and you can buy souvenirs, and Bangkok also made nice atmosphere different from diversion. Rests on the island jazz music is downright cozy.
