Island Nature / Park
Just a short journey from the capital city you'll find an entirely different setting on Koh Kred, a manmade island in the Chao Phraya River. Popular for its earthenware pottery, the island features numerous kilns and pottery shops as its main attraction. Besides picking up a souvenir here, you can also tour a large number of temples including Wat Porami, a royal temple, near the main ferry docks. Check out the small museum inside the grounds with historical items including art made by Colonel Chatwat Ngamniyom. Online souvenir is also OK, light, eating well, guests can enjoy a walk around. Also also runs boat trips leave from the ferry pier. I participated in the 1 o'clock tour.
