Koh Kred, Bangkok

3.9
#11 of 30 in Parks in Bangkok
Just a short journey from the capital city you'll find an entirely different setting on Koh Kred, a manmade island in the Chao Phraya River. Popular for its earthenware pottery, the island features numerous kilns and pottery shops as its main attraction. Besides picking up a souvenir here, you can also tour a large number of temples including Wat Porami, a royal temple, near the main ferry docks. Check out the small museum inside the grounds with historical items including art made by Colonel Chatwat Ngamniyom. With our international travel planner, Bangkok attractions like Koh Kred can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.

10:30 on Saturday arrived at the dock. One way across to Ko kret in part 2 I. Island single-mindedly followed by store. Because the road is narrow but borrow bicycles may be rather disturbing. Were not attractive for the Japanese. I felt good Chad Chuck is used.

On Sunday, Thailand tourists of many families and couples were gathering. I got off the ferry from the has opened various open-air format was fairly long distance on both sides of the aisle. Online souvenir is also OK, light, eating well, guests can enjoy a walk around. Also also runs boat trips leave from the ferry pier. I participated in the 1 o'clock tour. Takes half an hour, in three places in the midst the island one week, will be back on the side of the pier. If you relax one day is a good thing

Not much open on a week day, but people are nice, souvenirs cute and it makes for a closeby countryside retreat.

Nice island to walk around. You will need more time than you think. Prepared to spend at least 2 to 3 hours in the island.

Kohkred is located in Nonthaburi province, Thailand. There are a lot of food, antique places and architecture. If you want to try Thai food, kohkred is another place that provides many delicious Thai dishes.

An island of Mon and Thai and Islam people. Go to the island just a few minutes from wat Sanam Nuea. There are a lot of craft product and Thai local food and snack or can find restaurants beside the Chaopraya river.
