King Rama IX Park, Bangkok

4.6
#7 of 30 in Parks in Bangkok
Explore the largest green space in the capital city at King Rama IX Park, a site built in 1987 for King Bhumibol's 60th birthday. This park boasts an international botanical garden and a large lake where you can take paddle boats onto the water. Also visit the gold-topped building housing photos, paintings, and information about the King. If you arrive early, join in the public morning aerobics or Tai-Chi classes. When you get hungry, head toward the entrances of the park, where small stands usually sell barbecued chicken, noodles, and fruit. A big garden. There is a spacious area. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool. The garden. Various types of plants, both flowers and ornamental trees are suited to exercise, morning and evening, or to take pictures in a breath of fresh air. For a person to exercise in the morning and the evening would not need admission. There is plenty of parking.

Very nice park , large territory. Has everything for recreation and public heath! Nice cactus park inside, love to spend time and exercise there! Has a recycle bins as well. However , not many taxi drivers knows it, so be prepared to explain exact directions for people.

A large park with lots of trees. A good place to relax. Nice and quiet even during the day. There's an S&P restaurant there that serves food and coffee. A small entrance fee applied.
