  • We were the only tourists in the morning here and far and wide. There's literally everything! Some area are not for sensitive noses or weak stomachs, such as cooling of fresh minced meat is a luxury, the living fish jump from time to time by the table and ahead of one on the way. But despite an absolutely worthwhile visiting!

  • Fun to see how the locals live, but if you got teenagers make sure you prepare them for the smell's and the fact they will see live animals in small cages, quick tip: wear enclosed shoes, lots of pudd...  more »
  • This is about 10 min walk from Khlong Toey MRT station, easy to find. We enter from the side which sells fruits (which is why we came). There is also parts selling fresh meat (pork, beef and live chic...  more »

  • A fairly big local wet market. You can find almost every local produce here. Fresh fruit and veges, meat and poultry, dried food etc. it's good experience to see the local way of grocery shopping. However, it does get very wet and dirty. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear.
  • Fantastic 24 hour open air market that supplies much of the food for the restaurants in this Bangkok district. The food arrives between midnight answer 2AM so it is freshest the earlier you go. The variety is almost unbelievable and quality is very high.
  • If you want to know the local people's live, this local market is the best place. you will find all kinds of fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, special spice and so on.
  • Confusing as heck for a foreigner. It has everything but you need to be able to find the stuff first. It's so busy that nobody has any time to talk to you to find out what a non-thai speaker really wants.
  • A farely big fresh market. Good for fruits, vegetable, fish and local ingredients.
