  • Wow wow wow, this is an absolute must when visiting Bangkok. We stayed on Khao San Road and took a 20 min taxi ride (metered) to the market. It was literally the best I’ve ever been too. Hundreds and ...  more »
  • We have visited the market on Saturday at 18: 00. It was very crowded, but hardly any tourists there were. There are many booths and interesting vintage places. Especially the large food court liked us in the middle of the market. Here, it is still possible to eat at very reasonable prices. Skytrain stop MoChit, then run through the Park.

  • Definitely one of the better experiences in Bangkok. There was flooding so the Wednesday night market was smaller than usual. If you want to see the hip social scene in Bangkok, this is the place. Way more relaxed atmosphere, everyone was really friendly and didn't feel like everyone was trying to hustle you. Live music in several places, tons of colored crayfish which is the new trend there, vintage and americana items, repurposed furniture, food stalls with a variety of very approachable dishes.
  • One of my favourite night markets in BKK! If you love vintage stuff, it is a must visit! Can get very crowded as the night falls. Food & stuff are unique to this night market! Must try the food & see it for yourself!
  • I fell I love with this night market! It's got everything you'll need; whether you're there to shop, eat & drink or just out on a fun night with friend or family! You could even bring a date here! Excellent set up and well kept.
  • Busy market, plenty of places to eat and drink and lots of stalls selling clothes, shoes, bags, makeup, electricals such as cameras and lots more. Very reasonable prices. Good atmosphere but got extremely busy and become difficult to look or walk around.
  • Market, Restaurants and Bars here. Unfortunately the loud music played in the bars makes any conversation impossible. It is quite sad because there are some nice bands playing. But why does it have to be blaring loud???

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.
