Nice vintage market. As much food stalls than shops. Lots of people. Opening at 6pm but many shops still not yet fully opened. Seems to be a mess to come by car : better walk or motosai.

Night life is very vibrant. Tourists with different nationalities flooding the area. Secondhand items are widely famous in this place. Some restobar plays English music, and it feels I am in.

A disappointing night market for Thai standards. Not many interesting stalls, it's more of car boot sale than a market. There are far better markets in Bangkok.

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs. Consider staying at a guesthouse to gain a deeper understanding of Thai life.
