  • Great experience with James Fashion International! Suit was ready quickly and fit perfectly. I bought three shirts and found out later that one of them didn't fit right. I emailed Jack and he coordinated someone to meet me at the airport with a new shirt before I flew back home. Great customer service and the new shirt fit great. They went above and beyond and i cant be more satisfied with their service.
  • Excellent Tailor. Be prepared to do two fittings at least to make sure clothes are well tailored to your body type. Dont try to negotiate too agressively on price...you get what you pay for. Overall a good experience and I will definitely be using them in the future. As for them paying taxis to bring clients to store...even the big shopping malls offer those incentives...drivers get a contribution to their fuel
  • At first was turned off by the fact that this was one of our stops on our travel itinerary. Went anyway as I was interested in seeing what the cost, value and the price would be. Was greater at the door, offered many drinks and let my boyfriend look around. After looking at their many books he decided to ask about custom suit. I must say I loved the process and the bartering was the best part. I studied Fashion design and am a designer/create myself so I carefully inspected their panta, jacket and vests they use as samples. We ordered 2 full suits, one in blue and one in black, this was complete with pants, vest, and lined jacket. Also got two extra pairs of suit pants, 4 slacks, 5 tailored button up shirts, 5 ties and a scarf. Total US cost $1100. Our travel itinerary we moved to different hotels, different cities each day and they delivered everything to us, which was 2 hours 1 way! The quality I was impressed with, the attention to detail and all of what was promised, they totally deliver on. It has been months since being there and everything is still holding up, nothing falling off and they emailed asking how we were doing and how everything was working. Ultimately, I would recommend this place to anyone. They do great work for a ridiculously low price and they are VERY personable. We even found put about a custom dress shoe ship around the corner that would be about 80 US dollars for custom dress shoes. As long as you love bartering and are respectful they totally give you great service and great work.
  • Had a suit made at James. Very happy with the end result. Sun was my tailor and he delivered very high quality in only 48 hours. If I ever need another suit, I know where to order.
  • Do not go in without reading this! I came here as I was advised by our reliable travel guide that the guys here would do a good job. The treatment was great, the bartering process was fun and they gave me a cold beer whilst they sized me up, all part of the service. Everything was picked out and the tie they gave me was slightly damaged so they gave me another one for free. They came to the hotel for the alterations and everything was great. Got it for what I thought was a good price and was chuffed. I ordered one day and it was delivered to the hotel the next day, no worries. Wore the suit for an interview and got the job and wore it 2 times for my new job. So far 9/10 and 5*. I deliberately waited on reviewing in case something went wrong... And it did. On the way home from work on the train I realised that the breast pocket of the suit was ripped. I never put anything in that pocket apart from maybe a train ticket and so was perplexed as to why it would essentially just fall off (see Pic). I contacted James Tailor and they asked me to send the jacket back and they would send me a new one. I opted against that as from the UK that would cost too much, but asked them to give me a big discount if I wanted more suits (after all, I was very happy with the quality at first, surely this was just a one off so wanted to use that in my favour). I asked for prices for 2 suits (2 jackets and trousers, as well as 2 x shirt and ties including postage/packaging). They promised me the best price due to my trouble I had experienced and they quoted me the equivalent of £490 and refused to budge!!!!!!! That was apparently the best price they could do to keep their customer happy?! I only paid £120 for the suit jacket, trouser, shirt and tie when in the shop! I declined this offer and requested my measurements to take my business elsewhere and they were very reluctant and took several emails later but they eventually gave me my measurements. In summary, the workmanship I have experienced was not of a good standard, despite the materials being lovely. Not enough was done to put things right and hence my poor review, which I was reluctant to do as at first I was very happy. Be prepared for poor stitching and might be worth shopping around.
