Health Land Asoke, Bangkok

#8 of 390 in Spas in Bangkok
Indulge yourself with a soothing massage at Health Land Asoke. Enjoy a four-handed massage, with not one but two masseuses working in tandem, or experience Shiro Dhara--a treatment which applies a continuous, gentle flow of warm oil to the forehead, focusing on the area between the eyebrows known in Ayurveda (a type of eastern alternative medicine) as the Third Eye. Other treatments range from traditional Thai massage to pampering facials. It can be hard to know quite what you are getting with a Bangkok massage given the ubiquity of clandestine pleasure services, but the spa offers wholly professional treatments. It does get busy, however, so pre-booking is recommended. Add Health Land Asoke and other attractions to your Bangkok trip itinerary using our Bangkok trip itinerary planning tool .

  • The hotel is located in the middle of the city, so it's a great place to stay in Thailand.

  • I've been thinking about going and seeing it once. BtS Asok is also within a 10-minute walk. I think it's a little close to MRT. I had a Thai massage and an oil massage in two days. The evaluation seems to be various in other people's word of mouth, but the evaluation seems to be considerably separated by the individual difference of the practitioner. This is something that can be received anywhere, so it may not be helped. However, I think that this Health Land well-equipped facility is valuable and can be relieved including the price. One more thing is not much public, but it is only a Thai two-hour course, but if you want this course, you can get 600 baht at 300 baht of 50% off if you want to pay for visa or Master card...

  • It's less than 10 minutes' walk from Asok station. When I jumped in, it was OKAY, so I received a Thai traditional massage at 600BAT. I went to a private room in the elevator, changed clothes, and had a treatment. It was 120 minutes. The person in charge is Japanese, I want to, it is hard, and so on. I think that it is good to give a tip because the person in charge stands and waits after drinking tea after it is said that it is mackerel- i, and it is good in Thai language. Because it seems to be able to go easily even if it is a reservation, I felt that I can go comfortably without being bound by time than a small reservation essential place.

  • It was beyond my expectation when I reached out there. My first impression looking at the building was very luxurious. I came there with my friends from Singapore and it was lucky for us to do reservation by phone before getting there. It was crowded and many foreign tourists visited there. The smell of the room was quite calm and relaxed just when I entered the place. The service was good and massage was very comfortable for me. The therapist was also friendly even they couldn't speak english much however they understood well when I needed their help. If you want to have private room, you can request it. It was nice experience for me during visiting Bangkok.
  • One of my favorite place to go. Everyone is so nice n its crazy busy. They always squeeze me in. The foot massage room has the perfect darkness. The other location is still too bright. Can't wait to go back!
  • So much more than a foot massage! This blew my expectations out of the water! 60 min for 400 baht can't be beat for the quality! Seriously, come here. Don't listen to the tuktuk driver recommended places if they are nearby. Make the trip here and get your money's worth! Glad we stuck with our initial decision to come here. So satisfied :)
  • One of my go-to places in Bangkok for Thai traditional massage. They can get busy as they are one of they bigger operations that can accommodate tour groups. Just come on a weekday in the mornings--the massage therapists are fresh and rested. If you go for the 2 hour traditional massage, be sure to tip AT LEAST 100 baht--the massage therapists don't earn a monthly wage and can be working at least 10 hours a day. It's hard work! They only get paid a fraction of what the spa charges you.
  • My first time getting a professional massage, so I have nothing to compare it to, but I thought it was great. I got the 90 minute Abyanga (oil massage). Both the massage and masseuse were wonderful. For such a tiny lady she was very strong, and the massage was very firm. You can ask them to go more gentle if you want. Would definitely recommend it.
