Grand Pearl Cruise Reviews
Very average river boat trip. The best thing about this trip is the views of the city, my advice is to look for something else a bit more personal and less mass tourism for a more memorable experience... more »
We went on this cruise last night, we had a great time, very well organised, food was good, drinks reasonably priced. Sights were excellent and the band was certainly entertaining. Recommend dining on... more »

One of the most memorable moments spend on board. Cuisine offered satiated the soul. Our cruise was actually having all the Indians and to our surprise the music played by DJ was Indian, mostly the Punjabi songs inducing the adrenaline to make us dance jaunty. The outlook of the environ was added frequently by the other well lit and decorated cruises that passed by one after the other. And the fireworks at the climaxing moments actually stole our hearts. It was scintillating the ambience viz the sky touching buildings, the sea and ourselves. It was like a dream come true.
This has to be in your bucket list while visiting Bangkok. Do tell them while purchasing ticket whether you want halal food or not so that they give you seats on the appropriate deck. For us, the upper deck was for halal food and this is where you wan sit to enjoy the most. Cruise gives you a nice tour of the river for about 2 hours & the lighting on the historical temples along the river bank makes this cruise even more worth it.
Great night out, must do activity whilst in Bangkok. Food was good& plenty of it, cabaret show & the host were fantastic. Highly recommended A+A+
Food was all good, music was fairly poor - Christmas music when the band were not playing and romantic music when they were, not quite the lively atmosphere we were expecting. The top deck was reserved for a big group, this meant that we were unable to get the best views of the city because it was closed for most of the journey. The boat is mainly catered for Chinese tourists, with the music definitely aimed more towards this group. The performance was interesting, the performers did not look happy to be there, mostly bored, but it was a nice brief insight into the Thai dance culture. Overall this trip was mostly as expected with the added negative of poor views because of the reserved top deck - maybe something that should result in a discount and information for anyone else on the trip.
Nice experience. Old school river cruise, food very mediocre. Entertainment kind of fun. Expensive for what you get. Drinks are cash bar.
