Don't freeze. SWING!!!!!!

mAsa niwayama

“Officially” became a DJ in 2006, starting at the legendary meet-up place of core music listeners and party people in circa at the time [ BREAKS ].

Later, he would be invited to various clubs of all shapes and sizes as the Main DJ or supporting act around Bangkok, and also at Clubs and Party events around Asia, including Tokyo, Osaka, Okinawa, Hokkaido, Bangkok, Chiang Mai and beyond.

Noticed for his sounds which create a world of “Deep” whilst having a subtle but recognizably powerful “Positive essence”, his play style catches, places his listeners and audience into a laid back, right mood… How music ought to be. From the DJ Connoisseur to plain music lovers, his knowledge of various types of music mixed with his style of “Positive essence” tunes in the interests of many.

HIROO

Also resident of "ULTIMATE FUNK" at Club JADE, "EzOn" at Acid Room and "VORTEX" at The HAKATA.

  • The Giant Swing isn't really interesting. The Giant Swing is built on a bare square in the middle of the carriageways. No more, no less.

  • nothing much to see really, our tour van just passed by it so i did not get to really see it properly. There is no swing on it anymore, since it was deemed to be dangerous. Maybe worth visiting if you...  more »

  • Interesting structure worth seeing for sure. Easy to get to, kind of hard to miss. The associated temple is also worth taking in.
  • Great attraction in Bangkok, it’s a giant swing that was actually used as a swing many years ago, you can use the swing as they have removed it but the structure is still there and it’s beautiful
  • One of the iconic places in Bangkok. Full of history and significance but sadly no informing plaque is to be found. Close to nearby attractions and a local market full of delicious food. Worth a visit.
  • Go for sunset and enjoy a nice view. You can even get decent time lapse shots here if you set up early. Beyond that there isn't much to see or shoot.
  • very interesting place and for me it was magnificent monument.. I searched about the history of the giant swing and it's very interesting.. Wish the ceremony still exist to this day, but afterall it was a good memory taking pictures under the Giant Swing.
