Children's Discovery Museum, Bangkok

Categories: Fun & Games
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 40 reviews on the web
Get busy with the entertaining and educational activities at Children's Discovery Museum. The museum's hands-on approach to learning engages kids in multicolored, multi-story settings across eight different sections in three buildings. Exhibits include the human body, mechanics, and culture, but most little ones will rush to the bone-reassembling dinosaur detective area or the water play zone (swimwear required). The facilities provide showers and baby changing stations. Expect crowds over the weekend; plenty of eating options cluster nearby. Put Children's Discovery Museum into our Bangkok vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • Like: free for both local and foreigners. Good for family. Kids love it. Dislike: no food offering, by JJ market is nearby
  • Good thing it was free. Girls AND boys must wear a bathing top in the water park (fairly foreign concept for typical kiwi) Great interlude after JJ Market but wouldn't make a special trip to visit.
  • A great place for a playdate, it's free and kids enjoy playing in the different areas
  • It's a really nice place for children, an absolute delight to take my son there. As a bonus it's free.
  • A great place to visit except we could only stand the heat for about a half hour. Should've brought their swimmers and a bucket and spade. Free though!
