Children's Discovery Museum, Bangkok

4.0
#15 of 42 in Fun & Games in Bangkok
Get busy with the entertaining and educational activities at Children's Discovery Museum. The museum's hands-on approach to learning engages kids in multicolored, multi-story settings across eight different sections in three buildings. Exhibits include the human body, mechanics, and culture, but most little ones will rush to the bone-reassembling dinosaur detective area or the water play zone (swimwear required). The facilities provide showers and baby changing stations. Expect crowds over the weekend; plenty of eating options cluster nearby. Put Children's Discovery Museum into our Bangkok vacation planner and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

We came with 3 kids... Most of the experience was about what they are not allowed to do or touch. The staff isn't child friendly and no one is smiling or too nice to kids.  more »

Good fun for kids. Lots of activity. Parking is a big challenge. Monday is closed. Open from 10am to 4pm. Take one star out because no food and drink to sell. Inside the building, the floor is very slippery so be extra careful.

Small place and equipments are old. Only the climb at outdoor are fun. Only if you'll visit Chatuchat market, it just locate inside the park, otherwise don't worth to go.

Enjoyable time for your child! There are a lot of activities to do and play with your child. What I like the most are the career stimulation and the Dinosaur fossil explorer. On top of everything, it is a free pass!! Enjoy your moment there with your love one!!

Definitely a big thumbs up. Wonderful place for kids to learn and be active. Lots of activities to learn like sketching, Thai songs, a very well stocked library for kids and it's all for free.

Best place to spend a day with children. Good for age 1 to 15. Has splash fountain(bring extra clothes), fossil search, big play ground, spacious toddler's play room, various rooms for science, cooking classes, hand crafts, big lego blocks, and so on. And the best part is that it's all free for everybody.
