Chatuchak Flower Market, Bangkok

4.1
#5 of 45 in Museums in Bangkok
Visit one of Bangkok’s largest selection of florists at Chatuchak Flower Market, a street lined with fragrant stalls selling a huge variety of plants. Browse through bonsai trees, exotic species, and even artificial plants, or just take in the gorgeous flora and snap some photos. Refrain from touching the flowers unless you intend to purchase them, however, because locals usually buy them to offer at temples. Easily accessible by BTS, it's a must to Bkk. Open on weekends, we found everything: food, jewelry, art, clothes, perfumes, creams. The interesting thing is that the quality of much good of this market is quite good and the prices are always affordable. I'd recommend it.

This market is held on the weekend and is located at the end of the main BTS line. Here you can see the true Thailand and not the silk - or fake markets, who want to sell all sorts of tourist ripoff. Worth a visit.

If you want to stroll between orchids and multicolored flourished is the place for you. You can visit almost always but the ideal time is in the morning. The stop of the orange line on the Chao Praya River is right out front.

My girlfriend loved it and I didn't hate it so I'd recommended if a flower market is what you want. Also its next to the Channel 7 boxing stadium where you can see free Thai boxing on Sundays around midday.
