Consider booking a day trip with one of the many companies offering excursions to the rural communities that live on the riverbank. • Took the brt to Sathorn and the Orange flag express boat to pier N8. From here you can walk to the palace and wat. Very cheap 14 baht a trip.
  • If you have time, when you come out of the GREAT PALACE can cross the bridge walk or halfway, to observe the river. To change air and see another point of the city

  • I would recommend to see the River at night, with the lights of the buildings reflected. Impressive. If you can dine near the River overlooking this, you won't regret it. Highly recommended as different experience in Bangkok.
