  • First place we visited on my first time in Bangkok. The food court did not disappoint. Went to Thailand for the food, and I got more than I expected. Excellent food court !!  more »
  • If the main mall of Bangkok are considered luxury, now imagine that went into operation the Embassy, installed at the site that served as the headquarters for the old English Embassy. It's very luxury!

  • Central Embassy is an ultra modern mall with all the expensive signature boutiques. It is very spacious and not crowded, so it is relaxing to shop here. It is also connected to Central Chidlom via a s...  more »

  • A quite busy upmarket plaza in downtown Bangkok. My visit to this place is for food. Level 5 is for fine dining with at least three Chinese restaurants and two or three Japanese restaurants. All of these are busy with the queue outside some restaurant. The underground leve is a street stall style food court with added comfy and dining-styled atmosphere but at food court price. It is even busier. I chose the latter. All the cooking is before your eyes after ordering. Proper dining-styled tables are provided. I noticed quite many customers around me having their first meal finished, then walking around having their second one, even the third one! Such a variety of delicious food with a casual ordering system proves to be very popular among plaza visitors. It is a ingenious idea to provide such two different levels of eateries in an upmarket plaza.
  • A collection of high end stores. The food court in the basement is serving "Traditional" Thai. Kind of pricey but pretty good quality. The top floor has a nice wine bar with outdoor seating which overlooks the old British embassy, nice place to grab a drink!
  • Each floor is designed like a city. Great experience and facilities. A bit difficult to find a seating spot in rush times. London is a great place to shop for clothes. Food too is awesome. Lots of variety. Must visit for a tourist to Bangkok
  • It’s probably my favorite mall in Bangkok. Their Architecture is really amazing, the facilities are top notch, toilets are like in a five star hotel and most specially the hang out place is so incredible you will stay for hours. There are nooks which you can read, a modern in and out library that lets you read and at the same time buy the book in an instant. There are world class cafes too from Paris and the famous Brocolli Revolution. This is a must visit.
  • Central Embassy is amazing, the grandeur and choices of the best brands in the world. It makes you feel like a super star no matter how rich or poor you are. After your shopping journey that you don't want to end, you get to eat your favorite treats, we favored Ippudo and again so tasty and enjoyable.

Where to stay in Bangkok

As a commercial, cultural, and tourist center, Bangkok offers a great diversity of accommodations. For long established and chain hotels, try Sukhumvit Road and the areas surrounding the central Siam Square, where budget and luxury rooms are available in abundance. If you are looking for the backpacker zone, head to Khaosan Road, where you'll find a wealth of inexpensive, simple accommodations surrounded by businesses tailored to traveler's needs.
