  • Definitely need to visit if you are in the area. There are loads of different butterfly species here and many places to relax and let the butterflies land in your hands. Bring some ripe bananas to help them land on you.
  • Beautiful butterflies that one doesn't often see. One landed on my daughter's finger and made her day. It is free and surrounded by a beautiful park. Worth the visit.
  • This is kind of a lush, cool, relaxing respite from the heat & bustle of Bangkok. Very difficult to find. Looks easy on the map but isn't. All the green area shown as park on Google maps isn't. It's dissected by a very busy road & various parking areas. And many of the green areas are fenced off. You take a long trek & end up having to backtrack. To the left of where the Butterfly Garden is, there's a very nice, expansive park that's almost deserted of people, with extensive bike paths. The only way to find the garden is to locate it on Google maps & keep heading in that general direction Lots of butterflies mid February. The way to photograph them is with telephoto lens. Sit still for a while in an area with a lot of them flittering around. Get off at Mochit BTS Station, go south a ways until you find an entrance into park. Head north in park around west side of lake eventually cross road and walk north along sidewalk. Continue until you find a major entrance into the park area to west. This is the point at which you will probably get lost but wander around till you find extensive bike paths through large park area. Take the right hand bike path but not the one that crosses the river over the bridge and you'll be there shortly. See what I mean, hard to find. Pretty good walk from BTS Station. Didn't see a way to take a bus.
  • Small varieties of butterfly. You can take picture of butterfy in close range. It is ok if you have no place to go.
  • This is good for children and all for education purpose. Lovely and nice place. Lots of real butterflies, and plants around you. It is free for all. A must to visit.
