Baiyoke Sky Tower, Bangkok

(2,200+ reviews on the web)
Observation Deck
Head up, up, up above Bangkok at Baiyoke Sky Tower, the tallest building in Thailand. Built in 1998, the building includes a lounge bar and hotel. As you approach, notice the modern exterior's nod to Art Deco in its coloration and spacing of windows--something akin to an Art Deco space rocket. Take the elevator up the 309 m (1,014 ft) tower to the top-floor observation deck, which gives extensive and impressive views of the metropolis below. Take a look at our Bangkok trip builder to schedule your visit to Baiyoke Sky Tower and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • As this is an attraction to most tourists during the day time trying to enter and exit the hotel is stressful as its full of groups of tourists either wandering around or going up for the view. The lo...  more »

  • Been there at night, because a friend of mine told me this is a must have in Bangkok. Payed 400 Baht for entrance and a free drink at the sky bar. The few was great, but if you already seen a few city's, it's nothing special. The tower get a long in the tooth and the drinks are not very good. The top platform is moving so it's not very good to take night pictures.
  • 360° view platform that is rotating. The music is kinda annoying after some time, I wish they will turn it off sometimes and not run it in a loop. Best view over the whole city. Must seen for everyone who likes good views.
  • Equipped with high 84 floors. A very nice fruit buffet is served in this hotel. Highest sky scrapper of Thailand
  • 81st floor buffet is the worst buffet I've ever had, the chef that's grilling meat is watching YouTube with his iPhone while he was grilling my pork and it was totally raw when served. The spaghetti tastes horrible and completely cold. They have no drinks not even water so you have to order and pay for the drinks even if it's called a "buffet". I sat in the outdoor seats and the view was soso and the window was so unclear it should need some cleaning. So not worth 1450 baht...
  • About 350 Baht entrance. Kids are free. Free fruit buffet for each ticket at noon, free cocktail in the evening.
