  • Has now been on Koh Talu twice this year. For the first time in april/March on a single night. Except that it took 4 hours to get out of the lagoon from where the boat sailed to the island (silting up due to strong winds in a few days, which is nothing more than the weather gods sake), then the course of the trip fine. We lived in very large rooms, close to the reception and restaurant area. We snorkeled, we enjoyed on the nearly deserted Beach and we decided to come back and get some more days the next time. The second time was two nights over Christmas. This time we stayed in bungalows farthest away from the reception. Fantastic views from the terrace and only 50 metres from the beach. But ... the houses are unfortunately run-down and bears strongly marked by poor maintenance. Rotten wood here and there, doors that cannot be closed and a single air conditioning installations that brawled as maje farmer's. We heard a rumor that the current 4. generation owner of the island does not want to sacrifice it. And it is a crying shame. 10,000 baht for two nights with full pension and transportation t/r is enough for over the edge. The staff is great! There were organized Christmas party with Santa Claus and kareoke. Different, but we had a party:). So was it tried with. But unfortunately only three stars. Especially because half of us got seriously upset stomach of the food in the restaurant. Therefore, we recommend a day trip where you bring something to eat. Snorkeling is ok, but the corals reminiscent of earlier illegal dynamite fishing. Hope the above can be helpful in your decision to visit the island.

  • After 30' boat came near the island to watch the fish with mask and snorkel. The ship makes 2 different moorings, tray of fried rice and fruit for lunch then back to the port.
