  • Selected as the start of the Ayutthaya Wat Phra mahathat. So vast, many tourists. Most were crowded. I felt especially moved to head of Buddha from the roots of a tree and the long period of time.

  • We managed to visit this place after our late lunch just across the temple ruins. The number of temple ruins were just too many for us to visit every one in a day and chose this to be the second and a...  more »
  • Before visiting the place, please make a quick search about the Ayutthaya city history and Buddhism. Otherwise, hire a guide to explain all the background and monuments there. There is a lot to learn.  more »

  • Very beautiful temple ruins. If you climb up inside, be careful, as the original outside steps are very steep. On the inside there are some modern steps down that are basically a fall waiting to happen, do not attempt to descend them.
  • Must see place in ayutthaya historical site. Ruined temple. Still it looks very beautiful. Very big area. Lot of small ruined temples near by. Nice place to visit.
  • You can only imagine how impressive the whole building must have looked. Nevertheless the ruins are still interesting and worth visiting.
  • One of the best place in thailand.must visit.closef at 5:00 pm so you should be here in morning so you can visit other places too.
  • A historical place built during 14th century. Huge and good to have your selfie pics, However, make sure you have your umbrella or sunscreen protection and mineral water due to humid weather. A lot of foreigners, bear in mind you can't throw your trash in here although no rooftop and CCTV but private person in charge to the place is hard to recognize, in able to avoid problem you have to behave yourself and follow the rules Outside all are tourist price so don't complain, also, Tuktuk are taking advantage to fare. You must learn to negotiate the best price is 200baht not more than that going there and out then they will wait you for 2hrs.
