  • A must visit if you are in Ayutthaya. The Buddha carved into the tree is awesome. Visit the surrounding areas, too. Walk around the history. It's very easy to find.

  • Must visit historic site at Thailand. The Buddha head in tree roots is one of the main attraction bring me here and it’s not dissipated me as well. More and more eye catching historic buildings will rejuvenate our eyes. You can except more tourists here and you can spend well if you are even planing a day trip as well. The simplicity of the location is worth visiting. Also, it’s a sacred place so please be responsible.
  • Old temple #Wat Maha that #Ayuthaya #old capital
  • Nice walk through a park. You can pay to visit some ancient Ruins, but it's free to walk through the pond, over bridges, along the water etc. Small parking area nearby, might be difficult for finding spaces. Toilets on site but you have to pay 10 baht.
  • Peaceful and beautiful. Next time, seeing the temples in other areas will give me a better understanding of how they were built differently. The ones in Ayutthaya are similar in material used and construction but I recommend seeing them.
  • Little parking space available, entrance fee is 50.- for foreigners and 10.- for Thai nationals. Watch out, need to be dressed appropriately, no shorts and tops that are "flashy" Due to COVID, quite empty which was nice. Some nice green walking space around the temple area. Sometimes area used for concerts and events, so will see stands being built behind the location.
