  • This is a beautiful and very old temple. You will get some awesome photo ops. I spent over an hour exploring this temple. Fun fact scenes of Mortal Kombat were filmed in this temple.  more »
  • Great location for sunset, made me a little of Ankor Wat in it very little. Soothing and along the water. We had rented a boat (1200 bath) and this was the perfect ending to our day of Ayutthaya. Then another resto along the water and then the overnight train to Chiang Mai.

  • This temple (Wat = temple) is actually a set of ruins in style "Khmer", which shows the strong influence of Cambodia in the culture of the Kingdom of Siam (that was the name of Thailand until 1939). It was built in 1625, when Ayutthaya was the capital. It's a beautiful place, and that is on the edge of a river, went to visit him at sundown, which left him even more beautiful. But, I think it could be better signaled in its attractions.
