  • If I had to pick my favorite ruin in the city, this would be it. The complex is large, so that even though it gets a good amount of visitors, it doesn't seem as crowded as other spots. The prang is...  more »
  • Next to Wat Mahathat but by far not so crowded, guess most Tourist groups won't stop here. Well restoed Prang but beware of the steep stairs leading to the crypt. Take the time to stroll around and.....  more »
  • Get a professional guide. It is useless to go on your own and see only old rock without any historical context. This place is magnificent.  more »

  • honestly really enjoyed my time here! sometimes they’ll check your ticket while going in, but sometimes they don’t so honestly when i was there, there were a few who came in without having to purchase the B50 ticket. either way, B50 or not, it was really worth it. you can go in the tall temple, but be warned that it’s cramped and really smelly. so if you’re claustrophobic, it might not be the place for you. just a note for everyone going in summer: it gets CRAZY hot. like seriously insanely hot. dress light but conservatively, because they honestly judge you if you don’t dress conservatively.
  • Beautiful, 100% recommended. If you want to visit more than 5 historical places, buy the multiple ticket, it cost TBH 220, it's valid for all the temples and you can use it for 30 days (normally each temple cost TBH 50)
  • This is a lot of history and also a lot of waking. It’s a cool place for a short visit. Bathroom lines can get long 😂🤗😇 There’s a few nice Buddha and one that’s in a tree. Very cool.
  • Beautiful ancient temple. When you travelled all this way, I'm sure you like these kinds of things. It's really worthwhile to take the time to visit places like this. Get to know the history a bit, better understand the culture in the now. Possible to visit on a day trip from Bangkok, but rather take a few days to visit this place and some of the surrounding sites
  • Very nice, bonus value if you have watched Blood and Treasure on Netflix as this is where they filmed.
