(3.7/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Known as the lifeblood of the capital city, Chao Praya River provides transportation, trade routes and sightseeing opportunities. Eat a meal alongside the river and watch boat crews at work transporting goods, or join locals and tourists on ferries that commute between city locations. For a more unique experience, hire a long-tail boat that can explore the canals, or take a river cruise with dinner included. If you plan to spend the whole day using the ferry, consider a tourist boat ticket, which allows unlimited trips for the day and points out sites of interest.
