I stopped by on a tour. You can take photos with Tiger and elephant rides. Tourists seem have built leading travel company tours only in Japanese.

We were the only Europeans. This is the Thai version of a outletmall/town. So a little strolling and places to eat and drink. In Netherlands, I find there are too few to. ... that you see this now in Thai variant, so other culture, makes it even somewhat tolerable.

I came into the market village with my motorbike and was not charged entrance. I believe the 300 baht fee is required if you want to take the boat around the village. I would probably recommend against this as you can just walk around (which gives you more freedom surely). Lots of unique clothing available and plenty of places to eat at. I would recommend eating in the central island as you can sit on cute mats around a low table while you eat your food. I went quite early (10am) and there weren't many white tourists around.

We were lucky to have a cloudy rainy day. Took a Tuk Tuk there and back. Good food and souvenirs.

They make you pay 200 bhat per person, it is free for Thai people, but it's a scam because you can enter the floating market from around the corner. This entrance is actually for the animal show and if you want to see just the floating market (nothing special by the way, just another Thai tourist trap of course) you don't need to get in from this entrance. Scams and corruption everywhere in Thailand unfortunately. Ayutthaya is an awesome place BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO SEE THIS ATTRACTION AT ALL!!

This market is big enough and it is a destination worth to pay a visit, due to the products are cheap enough and mostly visited by locals. Just I dislike for the entrance fee of 200B/adult and the food they sold are less nice 😕
