James Bond Island, Ao Phang Nga National Park

Island · Nature / Park
Take a tour around James Bond Island, a hideaway used by one of 007's many antagonists in the 1974 film "The Man with the Golden Gun." Since the shady Francisco Scaramanga hid out here and the place was cemented into film history, the island has had a name change and the iconic islet featured in the film--a top-heavy limestone crop--has been near the top of visitors' must-see lists. Tour groups run a range of activities in the areas surrounding the islands. Consider a canoe trip around the small islet Ko Tapu (note that concerns about erosion have put an end to motorized boat use here).
