Tup Island, Ao Nang

(3.9/5 based on 1,100+ reviews on the web)
Relax on a pristine beach or snorkel in crystal clear waters filled with tropical fish at Tup Island, one of the most popular islands around Krabi. You can rent a boat and paddle about at your own leisure. At low tide, walk across a sandbar to the neighboring island. Bring a waterproof bag to keep any belongings in, in case you have to return at high tide when the water rises to waist height above the sandbar. Be aware that the small island becomes very crowded at peak times. Put Tup Island into our Krabi Town vacation generator and find out what's close by, where to stay, and where to head next.

  • It is worth here once a day to be, but it is recommended to take a private long tail boat and as early as possible to drive, because not so many people there are and you can take pictures in peace and relax there.

  • Island small, curious because when low tide you can walk from there (or Koh Mor which is another twin islet and connected on the Tup Island) to the Chiken Island which is one slightly larger island that gets its name from a rock that emerges in an extreme form of chicken and has a small balcony and a beach more large can be seen with few people if you are in the afternoon.

  • If you go here to snorkel you will be badly affected if you have knowledge about coral reefs. The wizards claimed that it was the tsunami that destroyed them.
