Catfish Farm, Ao Nang
(2.3/5 based on 160+ reviews on the web)
Observe a broad array of creatures at Catfish Farm, a unique zoo experience. The farm presents an interesting mix of animals to see, including crocodiles, monkeys, turtles, sheep, ducks, hen, reptiles, wild hogs, and a huge bat body. The highlight is the giant catfish on display, packed into bubbling ponds that you can cross by way of a wooden bridge. The farm also boasts an aquarium and swimming spot. Be sure to pack bug spray with you as there are many mosquitos. Note that several visitors have reported poor conditions of the animals; read up on the latest before you go. • Animals in poor condition, small enclosures. I regret ever going there. The area cold be so beautiful but the owners seem to think tourists love visiting the dump.
  • We were taken here after elephant trekking and it was an awful experience. From the outside the grounds are very run down with lots of junk outside. On entering the farm there was a monkey chained up,...  more »
  • The place is in very poor condition and animals lack care, desperate for food and locked into precarity. Sloppy and confusing path of the sadness, them poor crocodiles not have nor space to move is, them aquariums flooded of fish q nor have with them conditions appropriate of cleaning or maintenance. Such places should be closed down!
