  • Can nothing other than to recommend this company! Everything from pick-up to drop-off at the airport after the hike. The porters, Cook, waiter, and of course the wizards Erick and Inocent was brilliant! Always encouraging and made sure to always be available. It was always informed of what was to come. Became ill at the last camp, which meant that they had to ask about the team, and did it how good any time. We felt very taken care of. Experienced people! Good communication all the way and very great team with a lot of laughter that facilitated the tough parts of the hike. The food was beyond all expectations-delicious and much food!

  • Have had an amazing journey with a lot of laughs together with a lovely team led by Erick as a guide. Everything was very structured and well-planned from airport, to the mountaintop and then back to the airport. Had a friend who was greatly influenced by the height, and are very grateful for the quick and secure help from the team who supported/bar her down to a lower altitude. Food (food), a lovely bunch and really good guide!!

  • My husband and I summit journeys started on the 7th July unto the 12th and it was a success. Ascend Tanzania had an amazing team of guides, porters, chef, drivers and office managemen. The office manager Mbwa was a reassuring welcome we needed after missing our connection flight the night before. He and Musa (guide 1gimmediately fed us and did gear check and all admin immediately. We travelled with our quiet and ever-smiling chef on our way to Marangu gate. Ramadhan (guide e 2) was an amazing balance and perfect fit for my husband who doesn't walk as slow as me. The only way in which both Musa and Rama took us to pacing and drinking and water while enjoying the forest was so relaxed. I immediately noticed how they always led but were always listening to our breathing, pauses and pacing. From the beginning We also noticed the respect our guides had for the mountain as their employer - they walked and always picked up trash where (tourists) had littered on route. We were fed soup which I loved and appreciated each day as it got colder. When we asked if we could have Ugali, we immediately shifted the chef's menu plan but he was happy to keep us happy. You have gold in Boca - our waiter, hand in waiting, fill up all our water bottles, happiest human being, punctual and everything. He will make a good guide soon. The porters were so protective and ensured my stretcher ride from Kibo to Horombo after summit was seamless. My heart broke when all our tips were short by 10-20US each at the end coz we had to pay for a new flight and extra accommodation in Nairobi. Their send off song and celebration video will remain my priceless momento forever. I am an unofficial ambassador for Ascend Tanzania and any chance I get to rave about good service you know I will mention your names. Thank you Thank you Asante sana!
  • proffesional guides, strong portesr, talented cook and hospitality services from the staffs will make your trip to kilimanjaro super and awesome! its a good company with professional and organised people who know what customers need and they are ready to serve! highly recommend to anyone who need to climb kilimanjaro!
  • Great experience with great people!
  • A good organization for the ascent of Kilimanjaro. The guides were very brave. Have brought us safely to the top. Even the staff, between porters and chefs, they were very helpful and we were well looked after. The only note on wear of materials, in particular tents, but overall we were very pleased.
