See Tanzania's endemic animals and other exotic species at Dar es Salaam Zoo. Walk along the well-maintained paths to see enclosures with lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, gazelles, monkeys, vultures, ostriches, a variety of birds, and more. With the Nguva River passing through the zoo, you can watch crocodiles and tortoises basking in the sun. Hold a baby croc or milk a goat and interact with horses, donkeys, and camels--some of which you can also ride. The popular, family-friendly attraction has a swimming pool and a playground area for children. Dar es Salaam Zoo is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , international travel planner Edition.
